Florida law requires all students have a Tdap (tetanus-diphtheria-pertussis) immunization before entering 7th grade. Seniors, getting vaccinations while you are still in school can get you caught up on your shots before going to college, getting a job, or traveling abroad. Check with your healthcare provider or local health department to see if you are up to date on the recommended vaccines. A special Congratulations to the students of Clay County for their outstanding performance at the 2015 Florida State Science and Engineering Fair! The support of the Clay Rotary, Orange Park Medical Center, our teachers, and administrators has once again placed our county as a top performing district at the state fair. This year Clay County students took four category place awards, including 1st Place in the state in Physics (Jr. division), as well as 9 honorable mention/special recognition/ and merit awards. In addition, our engineering projects were recognized by the United States Navy, the Office of Naval Research, and the United States Air Force.
Our students’ performance demonstrates the county’s commitment to Engage, Innovate and Empower students in their pursuit of academic excellence.
